Robert Fleming & Co. Limited

With effect from Monday 19 March 2001, Robert Fleming & Co Limited ("Robert Fleming" or "the firm") will transfer its remaining Exchange business to JP Morgan Securities Limited ("JP Morgan").

All UK domestic transactions entered into by Robert Fleming , which remain unsettled as at the close of business on Friday 16 March 2001, will continue to be settled by Robert Fleming through CREST participant code 444. Please note however, if there are any transactions entered into by Robert Fleming which remain unsettled by close of business on Monday 30 April 2001, the responsibility for settlement will be transferred to JP Morgan. These transactions will still settle through CREST participant code 444.

All unsettled international business will be settled through Robert Fleming's usual settlement channels.
