Listing on the London Stock Exchange
The first ETF was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2000. Since then, we’ve gone from strength to strength, and are now a premier ETP listing and trading venue in Europe.
Today, 43 issuers are listing more than 1,700 ETPs in London, including over 200 ESG ETFs. In H1 2021, 169 new ETPs and five new issuers joined the exchange, trading an order book value of £82.6bn. And with ≅ 100% order book growth in the last six years, there’s never been a better time to access this wider investor base.
