Robert Fleming & Co. Limited
With effect from Monday 15 January 2001, Robert Fleming & Co. Limited ("Robert Fleming" or "the firm") will cease to act as a market maker and broker dealer agent in UK domestic securities, and will no longer have access to the electronic order book.
Robert Fleming's UK domestic securities business is being transferred to JP Morgan Securities Limited following the completion of the merger with Chase Manhattan Corporation.
All transactions in UK domestic securities entered into by Robert Fleming up until the close of business on Friday 12 January 2001 will be settled by the firm under CREST code 619.
The firm will continue to act as a market maker in international securities.
