London Stock Exchange My Account Decommissioning

We’re evolving our online services and making some enhancements to SparkLive, LSEG’s platform for live and on demand events, company insights and direct engagement between market participants.

SparkLive brings together a range of capabilities designed to connect investors, companies and financial professionals, from accessing corporate updates to engaging directly with company management.

As part of this transition, the My Account section of londonstockexchange.com was decommissioned on 20 June 2026.

From this date, the following features are no longer available:

Select Account within the SparkLive home page or follow this link to create an account: Signup | SparkLive | LSEG

Once you have selected ‘register’ you will be taken to the ‘create an account’ screen.

Step 1: Select ‘individual investor’ if you are acting on your own behalf or ‘financial professional’ if you on acting on behalf of an organisation.

Step 2: Enter your email address.

Step 3: Verify your account within 24 hours by opening your email inbox and clicking ‘verify my email’ for the email from SparkLive.

Step 4: Complete all fields remaining in SparkLive. Country, name and password.

Step 5: Click to open the Terms & Conditions and accept them to continue. Select 'Sign Up'

Step 6: Once your registration is successful. Select Login and enter your email and password.

Step 7: Enter the code delivered to your email into SparkLive.
Make sure all required fields are completed and that you are using a valid email address. If registration still does not work, contact support through the Contact Us form and choose Technical, account or general support.
Check that you are using the email address associated with your SparkLive account and try resetting your password. If you still cannot access your account, contact support through the Contact Us form and choose Technical, account or general support.
If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it from the login page.

Go to the login page.

Enter your email address and select Next.

Select Forgot your password?

Select Send me an email to receive a password reset email.
The password reset email link expires after 10 minutes. If it has been more than 10 minutes, you’ll need to request a new email.

Select the link in the password reset email.
If you open the email on the same device and in the same browser, you’ll be taken to the screen where you can create a new password. If you open the email on a different device or browser, the link will show a verification code. Return to the original device or browser where you started the reset, select Enter a verification code instead.

Create your new password, then re-enter it to confirm. Make sure it meets all password requirements.

Select Reset password.
Log in to SparkLive and open your Profile. At the top of your profile area, find Notifications and select Manage Notifications. You can then toggle your chosen notifications on or off.
You cannot change an email address in SparkLive. Alternatively, you can delete your account and register again with the new email address. Any data linked to the original account will be lost.
Log in to SparkLive and open your Profile. In the top banner, select Account Details, which appears to the right of your name. Scroll down to the account deletion area and follow the instructions to delete your account.

You can create a new company watchlist from your SparkLive account.

Log in to SparkLive.

Select your name in the top right corner, or select the person icon, to go to your account.

Scroll down to Watchlists.

Select Add new watchlist.

Enter a name for your watchlist.

Select up to 50 companies to add to your watchlist.

Select Save changes.

Your company watchlist has now been created. You can create up to 20 watchlists in total.
Select your name in the top right corner, or select the person icon, to go to your account.

Under News alerts, select Manage alerts.

Select Create news alert.

Enter a name for your news alert.

Make sure the Enabled box is checked.

Choose whether you want the alert to apply to:

Every company

An individual company

A watchlist of multiple companies

Select the news source.

Select an announcement category.
