LSEG’s Exchange Hosting Service provides the lowest latency, equalised connectivity to LSEG trading venues [Note 1] and services by allowing clients to co-locate their equipment within the same data centre as the matching engines and market data systems.

LSEG’s Exchange Hosting Service is available to all trading participants (members and non-members), information vendors and service providers. The service is widely adopted by proprietary trading firms and desks, as well as prime brokers, and is home to a large and growing community of latency sensitive clients.

LSEG’s Exchange Hosting Service provides clients with the lowest-latency, equalised connectivity to LSEG markets, helping to manage risk and improve certainty of execution for their programmed trading strategies. The service also offers a secure and resilient data centre environment.

Our state-of-the-art infrastructure provides secure, high-performance co-location for organisations requiring low-latency connectivity, robust security, and operational resilience.

LSEG partners with an advanced and highly resilient London data centre that supports our critical trading systems including London Stock Exchange, Turquoise® and Turquoise Europe™ trading venues, while aligning with modern environmental and sustainability principles.

Exchange Hosting has been an instrumental component in increasing the flow of liquidity by reducing round-trip latency times and increasing the likelihood of successful trading execution. The service has enhanced and extended LSEG's range of connectivity options and gives participants the flexibility to connect to their hosted equipment through a choice of industry-leading carriers. Exchange Hosting enables trading participants to physically locate their servers within LSEG data centre facilities, providing low microsecond access to trading platforms and real-time market data services.

In addition to the traditional Direct Electronic Access (DEA) model operated by member firms, London Stock Exchange, Turquoise® and Turquoise Europe™ cash equity markets offer a Sponsored Access service enabling non-members to connect directly using configurable low latency pre-trade risk checks and controls, managed by their sponsoring member. This service further enhances the opportunities for clients wishing to trade on those trading venues from within the Exchange Hosting Service.

LSEG can provide time synchronisation in our data centre through GPS and PTP.

A team of highly skilled, dedicated engineering resources is available for client installations and modifications to existing equipment. This service extends to beyond the traditional level of racking and stacking. Clients should enquire with their local London Stock Exchange Team for further explanation of services we are able to provide.

The Trading Launchpad is a LSEG wide collaboration to promote access to the LSEG markets for new trading participants. Exchange Hosting offer these customers shared cabinet space for the collection of real time market data only. This opportunity allows customers to test their algorithms with a set of real market data, without trading and making or losing any money, thus preparing the customer for future trading on the LSE markets. The Launchpad Service is only available for new customers and is limited to 12 months.

LSEG complete any physical work required on behalf of Launchpad customers, and customers must be escorted on any visits to the data centre. The shared cabinet is limited to 750W of power.
