Sustainable Bond Market Advisory Group

On 3 August 2020, London Stock Exchange announced the establishment of the Sustainable Bond Market Advisory Group (“SBMAG”).

SBMAG is designed to be a forum for market participants to provide input on London Stock Exchange’s Sustainable Bond Market (“SBM”) and act as a consultative body on future developments. This initiative is part of London Stock Exchange’s continued commitment to support companies and investors seeking to raise capital and manage risk associated with the transition to a low carbon economy. .

SBMAG members are invited to participate by London Stock Exchange based on their expertise, and to provide a balanced representation of key market stakeholders such as industry bodies, external reviewers, law firms, underwriters, investors and bond issuers which have shown an active participation in sustainable finance.

Membership will be reviewed every two years to ensure an appropriately broad spectrum of market participants are included.
