WisdomTree launches Space Economy UCITS ETF

WisdomTree, a global financial innovator, has listed its Space Economy ETF on the London Stock Exchange today.

The global space economy is estimated to reach $1.8 trillion in value by 2035 [Note 1], highlighting both the scale of the opportunity and the pace of its expansion. The WisdomTree Space Economy UCITS ETF (WSPC) is designed to provide diversified exposure to companies driving the development of the global space economy and its further commercialisation by focusing on four key verticals: launches and infrastructure, commercial space, defence space and emerging technologies.

The launch comes amid rising investor focus on the space industry, driven by advances in reusable rockets, satellite technology, defence innovation, connectivity infrastructure and growing anticipation around the upcoming SpaceX IPO [Note 2]. The proprietary index has been designed with a dynamic and forward-looking approach to ensure alignment with the most meaningful space opportunities as the theme evolves.

Speaking at the event,

“Space is becoming an increasingly important part of the global economy, as commercial innovation and strategic investment continue to reshape the sector beyond its traditional government-led foundations. Against this backdrop, the anticipated SpaceX IPO could serve as a major catalyst for investor interest and broader participation in the space economy. The launch of this ETF reinforces WisdomTree’s focus on providing investors with diversified access to long-term structural growth themes.”
