The largest active ETF manager in the US, [Note 1] Dimensional Fund Advisors, today opened the London Stock Exchange to celebrate the listing of its first UCITS ETFs.
The Global Core Equity UCITS ETF and the Global Targeted Value UCITS ETF are listed in GBP and USD in London and in EUR in Frankfurt. Both funds are registered in Finland, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
The funds are managed using Dimensional’s systematic investment approach, targeting higher total returns in broadly diversified, low-cost portfolios. The new funds complement Dimensional’s existing UCITS funds and separate account solutions in the region and are likely to be joined by other new ETF strategies this year.
Dimensional is a global asset manager with USD$915 billion in firmwide assets under management. The firm has significant experience managing active ETFs in the US and Australia, with ETF assets now over USD$226 billion across more than 40 funds. [Note 2]
“Dimensional has established itself as a leading global active ETF issuer. These first two European listings provide a new opportunity for professional investors to experience Dimensional Investing, which is informed by Nobel Prize-winning research and decades of expertise working to outperform benchmarks and peers.”
