WeeklyETFs today marked the launch of the Weekly World Income UCITS ETF with a Market Open Ceremony at the London Stock Exchange, bringing together representatives from both firms alongside partners and guests to celebrate the launch of the new fund.
The fund is the first ETF in Europe that aims to make distributions to investors on a weekly basis. This more frequent distribution schedule is designed to provide investors who rely on, or are building toward, a regular income stream more flexibility over how and when they use it.
The Weekly World Income UCITS ETF is an actively managed ETF designed to combine diversified exposure to global equity markets with an income-generating options strategy. The fund uses an actively managed covered call overlay, including call spreads and covered calls, with the aim of generating additional income alongside the potential for long-term capital growth.
The Market Open Ceremony marks the launch of the WeeklyETFs range and the collaboration between Aura ETFs and HANetf as the two firms seek to broaden the range of income-focused investment approaches available to European investors.
“With the Weekly World Income UCITS ETF, we are bringing another innovative investment solution to the European market. WEEK gives European investors access to global equities while aiming to generate income on a weekly basis, something no other European ETF has done before.. We are pleased to celebrate this milestone with HANetf at the London Stock Exchange.”
