London Stock Exchange today welcomed AllianceBernstein (“AB”) to celebrate the debut of its European active ETF platform. As the European ETF market scales rapidly—approaching nearly $3 trillion in assets—AB is expanding its footprint to meet the accelerating demand for active strategies in an efficient UCITS ETF wrapper.
The ceremony marks the listing of three active fixed income UCITS ETFs designed as core building blocks for investor portfolios. By listing these products on the London Stock Exchange, AB aims to provide investors with liquid, transparent access to its deep fixed-income research and execution. These initial strategies utilise AB’s systematic fixed-income platform, which leverages over 20 years of proprietary data and in-house predictive technology.
“Expanding into the European ETF market builds upon our long-standing commitment to clients and our ability to meet their evolving needs. These ETFs are designed to meet growing demand for accessibility, transparency, liquidity and real-time pricing, while maintaining AB’s active approach.”

AB’s entry into the UCITS ETF market aligns with its global strategy of delivering research-driven solutions tailored to local appetites. With 14 offices across 13 countries in Europe, AB’s asset management operation is well-positioned to support the growth of its ETF suite, which complements its existing line-up of high-conviction equity and specialist fixed-income strategies. This launch further extends AB’s global footprint, where it already manages over $17 billion across 27 ETFs (as of 31 March 2026).
