Combining scale and diversity
Shawbrook is an award-winning specialist UK bank. Through two core customer franchises – Commercial and Retail – the Group provides a diversified range of loan products to UK SMEs, experienced professional landlords and property investors, homeowners and consumers, alongside a wide range of personal and business savings products. Since 2013, Shawbrook has provided over £37 billion of funding to customers including small and medium-sized businesses to help them grow, invest and create jobs.
The Group has grown in scale and reach by operating in carefully selected markets, winning market share, entering new segments and making targeted acquisitions, underpinned by strong risk management capabilities and credit discipline.
Clear strategy to deliver next stage of growth
Admission to the Main Market in London positions the Group well for the opportunities ahead by further enhancing Shawbrook’s profile and brand recognition, broadening access to capital, and helping to continue attract, retain and reward its people.
Shawbrook is now a truly diversified business, one built on a distinctive combination of next generation digital capabilities, top talent and an entrepreneurial culture. With a growing demand for specialist funding where speed, flexibility and service matter, Shawbrook sees significant opportunity looking ahead. The Group is also well placed to play an important role in supporting economic growth in the UK – creating more homes and enabling ambitious businesses to succeed and expand.
“The strong support we have received from investors across the UK, Europe and the US, reflects the strength of Shawbrook’s proposition and the business we have built. We are proud to be listing in London – our home market – a milestone that positions us well for the opportunities ahead.
As a listed company, we will continue to invest in our platform and people, deepen our presence in chosen markets and expand selectively where we see attractive demand. Our priorities are clear: keep supporting our customers and deliver sustainable, profitable growth and long-term value for all stakeholders.”
