The London Stock Exchange welcomed RentGuarantor to AIM following its move from the Aquis Stock Exchange today. RentGuarantor’s ordinary shares will trade under the ticker “RGG”, with dealings having commenced at 08:00 BST on 15 August 2025.
RentGuarantor was set up in 2016 to address the needs of tenants and landlords in the UK. The company provides a professional rent guarantee service to tenants wishing to rent property in the UK private rental sector and through local authorities, offering a solution when they cannot provide a suitable personal guarantor – like a parent or relative. The company manages its applications via a secure and bespoke digital platform, designed and built by RentGuarantor with the primary aim of streamlining the rental process for all parties. An algorithm quotes a fee based on the risk assessment of the applicant’s information, and RentGuarantor’s in-house team offers support to applicants to ensure quality service, seeking to provide same day responses.
RentGuarantor offers its services to the whole UK rental market, currently excluding Northern Ireland, including both domestic and overseas students, as well as working professionals and those receiving benefits. By providing payment in the event of arrears, RGG offers security for a landlord’s investment, mediating between the landlord and tenant whilst the arrears are addressed. Should an arrears position occur during the term of the tenancy, the company is well-placed as guarantor to manage situations, address problems and generate amicable solutions for both parties.
RentGuarantor has established partnership agreements with a significant number of letting agents, charities and councils, helping the company to reach a large potential customer base of tenants and landlords. RentGuarantor is well-established within the property industry, and its move to AIM is set to support its long-term growth plans.
“We are thrilled to be making the move from Aquis to AIM, marking a key step in the growth of RentGuarantor as we look to further cement ourselves as an established name in the UK property industry. In light of significant recent growth and the desire to improve liquidity, a move to AIM is a natural step for the company.”
“We are committed to fostering tenant and landlord relationships that are built on trust and security, whilst creating a cohesive network of letting agents and key stakeholders that can benefit from our service. Having already signed over 1,700 partnership agreements, we look forward to growing the company and our customer base whilst delivering value for our stakeholders.”
