London Stock Exchange welcomes MHA plc to AIM

The London Stock Exchange today welcomes MHA plc, a leading professional services provider of audit and assurance, tax, accountancy and advisory services, in celebration of the Company’s admission to trading on AIM for listed securities.

The Company has successfully raised £98 million, giving the Company a market capitalisation on admission of approximately £271 million. The Company's directors believe that the Offer and Admission will support the Group's next stage of growth by providing a strong platform for the Company to continue to attract, incentivise and retain staff across the business and strengthen MHA’s market position as a fast-growing professional services firm.

The funds will also enable MHA to invest in technology, including AI and enhance its profile with existing clients, target clients and introducers of new business while also creating the opportunity for strategic acquisitions in the UK and overseas.

The original firm that became MacIntyre Hudson was established in 1869 and was a founding member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. MHA and its predecessor firms have since expanded across the UK both organically and through strategic acquisitions. The past 15 years in particular have seen a significant period of corporate activity for the Group.

With a culture focused on providing exceptional client service and supported by strong historical financial performance, with high recurring revenues, and a track record of acquisition and integration of businesses, the Group has grown to become the UK’s 13th largest accountancy firm by revenue in 2024, doubling in size in the last six years.

MHA has a medium-term aspiration to become a top 10 UK accounting and professional services business, generating in excess of £500 million annualised revenue.

“This is an exciting day for our firm, our people and we believe a welcome one for the London market. We have been delighted by the positive response we have had from investors and our clients since we announced our intention to float last month. I would also like to thank the London Stock Exchange team for their unwavering support and guidance in enabling this significant moment in our history.”
