London Stock Exchange welcomes The Generation Essentials Group to the Main Market

The London Stock Exchange today welcomed The Generation Essentials Group, a global leader in media, entertainment and movies, as the conglomerate marked its admission to the Main Market.

The Generation Essentials Group (NYSE and LSE: TGE), jointly established by AMTD Group, AMTD IDEA Group (NYSE: AMTD; SGX: HKB) and AMTD Digital Inc. (NYSE: HKD), is headquartered in France and focuses on global strategies and developments in multi-media, entertainment, and cultural affairs worldwide as well as hospitality and VIP services. TGE comprises L’Officiel, The Art Newspaper, movie and entertainment projects.

Collectively, TGE is a diversified portfolio of media and entertainment businesses, and a global portfolio of premium properties. Also, TGE is special purchase acquisition company (SPAC) sponsor manager in global media, entertainment, and gaming areas.

The secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange supports the companies’ ambition to grow, expand their product portfolio and take this to the world. Much as it has done in the world of fashion, TGE is now taking its movie brands to a wider international stage, successfully promoting its Asia-focused blockbuster movies like the ‘Last Dance’ to a global market.

Congratulations.And as I say, again,thank you for bringing a very colorful start to our markets this morning.But, Calvin, I'll pass the floor to you to say a couple of words.So thank you, Tom.I'm Kelvin, founder of the Generation Essentials.Very happy to be here today.It's, of course, it's the great honor of Generation Essentials,TGE, having our listing on the main market of the LondonStock Exchange.I think, we see this as very important because I think London and alsoUK, is a place that we are going to,long term develop our businesses.I mean, same as what, Tom has mentioned, I think, well,you know, you have three hundred years of, you know,history, you know, for our various brands, all our medias,all our entertainment businesses.You know, we carry some brands over a hundred years old, and,you know, we do see that, you know,I think it's very long term, you know,in terms of what we are planning to build.I mean, TGE is a company with our global media,global entertainment, and global hospitality,so including businesses, across and over,more than thirty countries of the world.So we see that, you know, while we see every market to expand,I think we play strategic importance now to UK.I mean, this listing is important because we are already listed,in the New York Stock Exchange.So we make ourselves a dual listed player,and very much importantly that we make UnitedKingdom a place of strategic importance for our future growth.I totally agree that.I think every businesses, you know, every you know,of growing businesses, you need lots of innovations.You need lots of great ideas. Right?So I think, you know, I I take it back, you know,to the AMTD world, you know, as in the forward, you know,original meaning being at minus timesdivide, but I see really seeing it as aspiration, momentum,teamwork, and determination.So we are gonna do it together,and thank you for the support of LSE and all the fellowmembers of the Generation Essentials.Thank you, everyone.
