London Stock Exchange welcomes Onward Opportunities Limited to celebrate One Year Anniversary
Onward Opportunities Limited (ONWD LN) today celebrates its One Year Anniversary of listing on AIM by leading the Market Open at the London Stock Exchange. At the time, it was largest IPO of the year in what were very challenging market conditions, and is the first investment company to successfully float on AIM since 2021. Onward Opportunities Limited is an investment company that was formed by Laurence Hulse and the rest of the investment committee on the belief that a structural market opportunity exists investing in UK smaller companies, which can be capitalised on for clients using our deep industry experience. As a team, we are convinced that employing a highly active investment approach for identifying investment opportunities and driving those investments to an outcome can result in higher returns by capitalising on market inefficiencies.
Since launch, Onward Opportunities has made an encouraging start, delivering a +11.3% NAV return in its first financial year, outperforming UK markets and peers, rewarding investors in the launch for their faith and support. We look forward to continuing these endeavours and growing further. We are at the start of what is envisioned to be a sustained journey on the UK AIM market, providing existing and future shareholders with an accessible route to gain exposure to a specialist investment strategy through an investment company structure.
