State Street celebrates its global partnership with Blackstone and a milestone in UCITs innovation as Euro CLOs continue to go from strength to strength

The London Stock Exchange today welcomes State Street Investment Management, the asset management business of State Street Corporation, to mark its global partnership with Blackstone. Collateralised Loan Obligations (CLOs) have been growing increasingly in the US and in Europe and there is strong client demand for the asset class. The State Street Blackstone Euro AAA CLO UCITS ETF fund launched in September 2025 as the first credit collaboration between two firms in Europe, building on our existing liquid credit partnership in the US. Having been an investor in active CLOs dating back to 2001, Blackstone has extensive experience with active CLO investment and issuance through cycles.

CLOs have rapidly gained traction as an investable asset class, in keeping with the broader rise of investor demand for exposure to private markets. After bringing this product to market in 2025, in keeping with its history of driving innovation within the industry, State Street Investment Management looks forward to bringing more innovative new products to market to provide investors with strategic exposure to private markets, and in continuing to work alongside Blackstone and its other partners in these ongoing efforts.
