Shaires Holdings celebrates its launch and the establishment of its initial portfolio
Shaires Holdings today marked its launch and the establishment of its initial portfolio with a Market Open Ceremony at the London Stock Exchange, bringing together members of the Company’s Board and management team alongside its advisers, market partners and other key stakeholders.
Shaires is a publicly quoted London investment company providing investors with exposure to leading private mid- and late-stage global technology and AI companies. Its portfolio includes completed acquisitions of indirect interests in Anthropic and Stripe, an indirect equity investment in ByteDance, an indirect equity interest in SandboxAQ, an investment in Colossal Biosciences, and an option to acquire exposure to Figure.
The ceremony follows a significant period of development for the Company, including the completion of its recent institutional and retail fundraising, the build-out of its initial portfolio and its participation in the London Stock Exchange’s new Capital Access Window.
Shaires was the first issuer to use the Capital Access Window, reflecting the Company’s role in exploring new routes for listed businesses to access capital and broaden investor participation.
The Company has also transitioned to the SETS order book to support liquidity as it continues to develop its presence on the UK public markets.
