LSEG proudly hosted its annual Market Close ceremony to mark Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy 2026, a global campaign organised by the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) in partnership with the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) during World Investor Week. This year, LSEG was one of the +55 exchange groups around the world to take part in a bell-ringing ceremony to highlight the importance of financial literacy.
The event brought together policymakers, educators, financial institutions and industry leaders, alongside students and educators representing schools that participated in Understanding Money, Markets & Risk, a financial education programme which includes a stock-picking competition powered by the London Stock Exchange’s TradeTutor stock picking tool and delivered by the LSEG Foundation, Goldman Sachs and Founders4Schools (F4S).
Whether you're a saver, retail investor, pension holder or student taking your first steps in understanding markets, financial literacy is essential to making informed decisions and investing in your future with confidence.
We are proud to support this global initiative and spotlight the role institutions can play in promoting financial capability, financial inclusion and economic opportunity for all.
