LSEG welcomes the London Latino Film Festival to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

On 23 September 2026, LEAD (Latinos for the Empowerment, Advancement and Development) welcomed the London Latino Film Festival to LSEG for a special Market Close ceremony marking Hispanic Heritage Month.

Hispanic Heritage Month is an annual celebration that brings together Latin American and Hispanic communities and allies to honour the heritage, cultural richness and remarkable contributions of the Latin American diaspora.

Observed from mid-September to mid-October, Hispanic Heritage Month aligns with the independence anniversaries of several Latin American nations. It is a moment to pause and recognise the traditions, resilience and achievements of Latin American communities across the globe, and right here within LSEG.

This year's theme, "From Heritage to Leadership," celebrates how our cultural heritage shapes who we are and the contributions we make. It recognises the achievements of Latin American and Hispanic communities while highlighting the importance of representation, inclusion and leadership in the workplace and beyond.

This year's celebration was made even more special by the participation of the inaugural London Latino Film Festival, a landmark cultural initiative that celebrates Latin American stories, perspectives and talent while creating a new platform for cultural exchange and representation across the capital.

Celebrating together is more than tradition. It is how we reinforce LSEG's commitment to an inclusive workplace, where every colleague feels seen, valued and empowered to thrive.

¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana!
