The event forms part of the LSEG Foundation's mission to help people build better futures through education, employment and enterprise programmes. Working alongside charity and NGO partners around the world, the LSEG Foundation aims to positively impact two million lives by 2030 by supporting people to access economic opportunity and build more secure futures.

This evening celebrates the LSEG Foundation's partnership with London Youth, supporting employability programmes through a network of nearly 600 member organisations serving more than 600,000 young Londoners each year. Together, the LSEG Foundation and London Youth are helping young people develop skills, confidence and pathways into employment, particularly those facing barriers to opportunity.

The event features a special conversation with Efe Obada, whose remarkable journey from a challenging childhood to becoming the first player to move directly from a European league into the NFL, has inspired people around the world. Today, Efe continues to make an impact beyond sport through his role as a London Youth Born Ambitious Ambassador and through the Efe Obada Foundation, which supports children growing up in care across London.

Hosted by acclaimed actor Martins Imhangbe, best known for his role as Will Mondrich in Netflix's Bridgerton, the discussion also features Pauline Daniyan, Chief Executive Officer of London Youth. Together, they will explore resilience, ambition and the power of opportunity, reflecting on the experiences, support networks and youth organisations that play a vital role in helping young people unlock their potential and access opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
