Today, the London Stock Exchange welcomed Off The Agenda (OTA) Media to close the market, marking the launch of The Next Agenda - a new national platform for leadership, policy, and economic conversation developed in partnership with HM Treasury and LSEG.
OTA Media is a UK‑based media and events organisation dedicated to producing original content at the intersection of business, government, finance, and culture. Through its flagship podcast interview series Off The Agenda, alongside live events and research‑led storytelling, OTA Media convenes senior leaders to explore the ideas, decisions, and values shaping Britain’s economic and social future.
Today’s Market Close celebrates the introduction of the new series, The Next Agenda, designed to examine the next phase of Britain’s economic growth through themes such as innovation, enterprise, sustainable finance, inclusion, and global competitiveness. The programme brings policy, markets, and leadership into active dialogue, supported by new national research commissioned by OTA Media on trust, diversity, and long‑term value creation.
The ceremony is accompanied by a headline conversation between Sir Kenneth Olisa and Sir Charles Bowman, followed by a panel discussion hosted by HM Treasury and featuring senior voices from government, finance, and business. Together, these conversations offer practical insight into how leadership, governance, and collaboration can strengthen confidence in the UK’s capital markets and wider economy.
“Closing the market today is an important milestone for OTA Media. The Next Agenda reflects our belief that Britain’s future growth depends on trust, innovation, and inclusive leadership. We are proud to partner with HM Treasury and LSEG to create a platform that brings evidence, experience, and ambition into the same conversation.”
