London Stock Exchange welcomes Hudson River Trading to close London’s Markets

Today, the London Stock Exchange was pleased to have Hudson River Trading (HRT), a leading global quantitative trading firm, host its Market Close Ceremony. The ceremony was attended by HRT’s Landis Olson, Head of EMEA, alongside many colleagues.

First launched in 2002 with a focus on US equities markets, HRT has since scaled to trade on nearly all of the world’s electronic markets and today manages a diverse set of quantitative trading strategies across asset classes and time horizons. The firm employs over 1,200 people spanning a variety of mathematical, scientific, and business disciplines, and is a leading voice advocating for fair and transparent markets everywhere.
