Not a Market A Gateway

Jordan's investment case should not be read in isolation. Strategically located at the crossroads of the Gulf, Iraq, Syria and North Africa, Jordan offers investors direct access to markets representing hundreds of millions of consumers across the wider Middle East. A single point of entry into Jordan links capital to preferential trade deals, logistics corridors and industrial zones that reach far beyond the Kingdom's own borders making Jordan less a standalone destination and more a regional hub through which business flows outward.

Welcoming participants, H.E. Dr Tareq Abu Ghazaleh said: “It is a privilege to represent the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at the London Stock Exchange and to open the market this morning, Jordan is not a small market — it is the region's gateway. When you invest in Jordan, you are not investing in one economy; you are connecting to the wider Middle East. Our strategic location provides investors with a stable, secure base, which is beneficial for investors weighing regional exposure against regional risk.”

These results are the product of a conscious, forward-looking investment agenda built on openness, transparency, predictability, competitiveness and long-term economic stability. The Kingdom has pursued significant policy reforms, established a clear investment roadmap, and introduced lucrative incentive packages. Continuing to widen opportunities for the private sector, strengthen regulatory framework, and building the conditions for sustainable, diversified investment across priority sectors.
