London Stock Exchange celebrates a landmark transformation of admissions and reference data services
Today, London Stock Exchange hosted a Market Close ceremony to celebrate the successful completion of a major transformation of the Exchange's admissions and reference data infrastructure.
Over a multi-year programme, business and technology teams across LSEG's offices in Bucharest, Hyderabad, Colombo, Manila, and London, together with strategic delivery partners, worked to modernise the systems and processes that support the admission and ongoing management of issuers and securities across London Stock Exchange's markets.
Replacing 15-year-old on-premises technology with modern, resilient cloud-based platforms, the programme has strengthened the operational foundations that support the Exchange's markets while enhancing efficiency, resilience and long-term flexibility. The programme also simplified and modernised several key operational processes, supported by increased automation and enhanced controls.
The ceremony celebrated an important milestone for London Stock Exchange and the many teams who contributed to its success. By modernising a critical part of the Exchange's infrastructure, the programme has created a strong foundation to support the continued growth, innovation, and evolution of London's capital markets.
