London & Partners celebrates a record year of results for their work supporting global scale ups
Grow London, part of London & Partners, celebrated the strength of London's scale-up community with a special Market Open ceremony at London Stock Exchange on Friday 11 September 2026.
The event brought together founders, investors, business leaders and ecosystem partners to celebrate the contribution of high-growth businesses to London's economy and showcase the opportunities available to ambitious companies looking to scale in the capital and internationally.
Impact generated
2025–26 was a record-breaking year for London & Partners, delivering significant economic impact for London and the wider UK economy.
The teams supported 80 international businesses across high-productivity sectors and 20 global markets to establish or expand their presence in the capital, generating £137 million in GVA. Critically, 79% of these businesses were actively considering alternative locations when they first engaged them demonstrating the role London & Partners plays in securing highly competitive international investment for London.
At the same time, Grow London Global, the scale up accelerator, supported 265 of London’s most ambitious scale-up businesses to expand internationally, helping them access new markets, win international business and accelerate their growth. This activity generated £595 million in GVA and supported the creation of more than 6,600 jobs.
Since 2011, Grow London has supported the creation of £4.9bn in GVA for the UK economy through a) supporting high growth companies from around the world to establish a presence here, and b) supporting domestic scale ups to grow and win international business. 108,000 additional jobs in London have been created as a direct result of the Grow London programmes.

London is home to one of the world’s most dynamic and internationally connected business ecosystems, offering growth-stage companies access to global markets, capital, talent and expertise. From fintech and deep tech to life sciences and green innovation, the capital’s diverse sector strengths provide a strong foundation for businesses seeking to grow and compete on the global stage.
The Market Open provided an opportunity to celebrate the businesses and leaders contributing to this ecosystem, including international high-growth companies that have recently chosen to expand to London and scale-up businesses using London & Partners’ support to secure new global opportunities and business deals.
By bringing together founders, investors and ecosystem partners, the Market Open provided a platform to strengthen connections across London’s growth economy and celebrate the people and businesses helping to shape its future.
The event marked a moment to recognise London's continued strength as a global hub for ambitious businesses and its ability to support the next generation of companies as they scale, create jobs, attract investment and expand into international markets.
