EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ UK programme celebrates UK finalists
EY’s Entrepreneur Of The Year™ UK programme today marks one of the most important days in the entrepreneurial calendar. This special Market Close event at London Stock Exchange celebrates the vision, determination and innovation of some of the UK's most exceptional business leaders with the announcement of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ UK Top 10 Finalists.
The Top 10 finalists represent the very best of British entrepreneurship. They are founders and leaders who have built outstanding businesses, demonstrated resilience in the face of challenge, created jobs and opportunities, and delivered meaningful impact within their industries and communities. Their achievements reflect the strength, ambition and diversity of the UK's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
For nearly three decades, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year UK programme has recognised entrepreneurs whose ideas, leadership and perseverance are transforming industries and driving economic growth. Beyond celebrating success, the programme creates opportunities for entrepreneurs to learn from one another, expand their networks and gain exposure to experiences that inspire them to think bigger.
Few stories capture this impact more powerfully than that of Thomas Ryder, founder and CEO of Applied Nutrition, who reflected on the role EY played in his own entrepreneurial journey, “Exactly 12 months before we listed Applied Nutrition on the London Stock Exchange, EY invited me to an event at the LSEG. Standing there that day was the first time I could truly visualise Applied Nutrition as a listed company. It turned an ambition into something that felt real and achievable, and 12 months later, we completed our IPO. Without that invitation and support from EY, I genuinely don’t know whether I would have made that decision. That’s the real value of the EOY community and events: they recognise and inspire entrepreneurs, broaden their ambitions and, most importantly, show them what is actually possible.”
