As CRIS Cancer Foundation celebrates 15 years of accelerating cutting-edge cancer research within the public healthcare sector, the organisation has been honoured to close the market at the London Stock Exchange, recognising its growing international impact in advancing more personalised, precise and less toxic cancer treatments.
Founded in 2011, CRIS Cancer Foundation is an independent international charity with headquarters in the United Kingdom, Spain and France, dedicated exclusively to funding pioneering cancer research and bringing new therapies closer to patients. Thanks to the generosity of individual and corporate donors, the organisation has invested more than €80 million globally since its foundation, supporting over 720 researchers, 736 clinical trials and 117 new treatments across 107 research centres worldwide, with more than 14 million potential beneficiaries.
CRIS Cancer is also one of the five European organisations funding Fight Kids Cancer, the leading civil society consortium supporting advanced childhood cancer research across Europe.
In the United Kingdom, CRIS Cancer collaborates with leading institutions including The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR), University of Oxford, Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), and University College London (UCL).
CRIS Cancer supports pioneering programmes in immunotherapy, paediatric cancer, precision medicine and advanced clinical trials, helping to accelerate the translation of scientific discoveries into new treatments for patients around the world.
“This is a very proud moment for CRIS Cancer Foundation, as it reflects not only the growing international reach of our organisation, but most importantly, the real difference cancer research makes to patients and their families. We are incredibly grateful to our supporters, partners, researchers and clinicians, whose dedication continues to drive progress and bring new hope to people affected by cancer.”
