LSEG Foundation Day 2026 is being celebrated today across LSEG’s global offices, spotlighting the impact of the LSEG Foundation's charity partners and the difference colleagues make through volunteering and fundraising around the world.
The annual event brings together colleagues, charities, students and community leaders in support of the LSEG Foundation's mission to positively impact people's lives and help them on the path to financial independence. This year's celebrations come as LSEG Foundation doubles its ambition, aiming to positively impact two million lives by the end of 2030.
The evening will begin with a stock market close ceremony hosted with charity partner Malaika, an organisation dedicated to empowering girls and communities through education and health programmes in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It will be followed by a special edition of LSEG Foundation's In Conversation With series, featuring Malaika Founder and CEO Noella Coursaris Musunka and Malaika ambassador, Grammy Award-winning rapper and songwriter Eve.
Together, Noella and Eve will explore themes of leadership, opportunity and resilience, reflecting on how individuals and institutions can support more inclusive and sustainable futures, particularly for women and girls around the world. The discussion will also examine the power of community, the importance of creating opportunities for young people and the role that education can play in unlocking potential.
LSEG Foundation Day marks the start of a global programme of activities taking place across LSEG locations, encouraging colleagues to make an impact through donating, fundraising, volunteering and learning. In 2025, LSEG Foundation supported 140 charitable partners and enabled over 8,500 colleagues to volunteer their time in support of causes they care about.
