Celebrating International Collaboration on Climate Finance and the Start of London Climate Action Week 2026
LSEG was delighted to open trading in London today to celebrate the beginning of London Climate Action Week (LCAW) 2026.
We were joined by an exciting line-up of international climate leaders including Rachel Kyte, UK Special Representative for Climate; Samed Ağırbaş, COP31 High-Level Climate Champion; H.E. Dr. Gedion, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia and President-Designate of COP32 and Dr Rhian-Mari Thomas OBE, Chief Executive, Green Finance Institute (GFI). LSEG is once again partnering with GFI this year to host London Climate Action Week: Finance Live — a daily morning show taking place throughout the week. Jane Goodland, LSEG’s Group Head of Sustainability, hosted the Market Open.
Held annually in June, London Climate Action Week brings together investors, banks, businesses and policymakers to drive climate action both locally and globally. The week features a diverse programme of events, from large-scale conferences to community-led initiatives, covering topics including finance, energy, policy and nature.
At LSEG, we are proud to play a key role each year in facilitating climate finance dialogue throughout the week. This year, alongside a series of events, we are co-hosting the daily Finance Live morning show with GFI. Hosted by Axel Threlfall, Editor-at-Large at Reuters, the programme will feature more than 40 influential voices from across climate and nature finance, policy, economics and business.
