Apex Group and LSEG collaborate to expand access to private markets for UK wealth investors
The London Stock Exchange Group today welcomes Apex Group to mark their joint collaboration in the streamline and digitisation of end-to-end workflow for private market fund capital raising, with an initial focus on UK wealth channels. The initiative enhances both the discoverability and the investor/investment lifecycle of private market funds, whilst broadening access for professional wealth investors to private market investments. By improving connectivity between fund managers and distribution networks, it addresses longstanding inefficiencies in fund discovery, investor aggregation, and capital formation.
This collaboration represents an important step in bringing private market funds closer to the professional wealth sector, supporting a more efficient, scalable and technology enabled private markets ecosystem. It also establishes the foundation for future innovation across digital infrastructure, including the integration of advanced technologies such as tokenisation and AI to further enhance utility and investor experience with digitally native and programmable private market funds.
