LSEG welcomes the IFRS Foundation for their London meetings

The Trustees of the IFRS Foundation, responsible for accounting and sustainability disclosure standards used extensively worldwide, are meeting in London this week.

To mark the event, LSEG hosted a Market Open and a discussion with the IFRS Foundation on corporate reporting in the future. Topics discussed included factors affecting how companies report, how technology and AI are re-shaping how investors consume financial information, and the extent to which geopolitical changes are affecting corporate reporting priorities.

The discussion was led by Julia Hoggett, CEO of the London Stock Exchange and Erkki Liikanen, Chair of the IFRS Foundation Trustees and included senior figures from the investor, corporate and technology communities.
