Today, LSEG welcomed Chapter Zero – the philanthropically funded network of non-executive directors, Chairs and senior business leaders who Chapter Zero equips and inspires to lead on climate from the boardroom.
The occasion celebrated Chapter Zero's London Climate Action Week 2025 Flagship Event: ‘Improving governance and empowering boards to tackle the climate and energy transition agenda’. It also celebrated the role of Chapter Zero in helping board members embed climate into business strategy through its convenings, content and community-building.
At the event, following a Market Close hosted by Chapter Zero Supporting Chair and LSEG Chair, Don Robert CBE, and Chapter Zero Chair, Julie Baddeley, guests enjoyed a conversation between Martin Scicluna, Chair of Sainsbury’s, and Vicky Moffatt, CEO of Chapter Zero. This was followed by networking on LSEG’s stunning rooftop terrace overlooking St. Paul’s cathedral in the heart of the City of London.
“Climate and nature are no longer just environmental concerns, but key drivers of risk, innovation and growth. That is why it’s time to stop talking and start acting on what makes financial sense for businesses.”
Vicky Moffatt
“We are grateful to LSEG for this opportunity to participate in this Market Close and to bring our members to this prestigious location to network and inspire climate action.”
“LSEG is honoured to celebrate our partner, Chapter Zero, as we work to enable sustainable growth around the world. As business leaders navigate the climate transition, Chapter Zero acts as an invaluable resource to corporate boards in the UK and beyond.”
