London Stock Exchange Group celebrates The Lord Mayor’s Appeal City Giving Day

City Giving Day is The Lord Mayor’s Appeal’s annual celebration of philanthropy, championed by successive Lord Mayors of the City of London. This vibrant event continues to grow year after year, with over 600 companies participating in 2025.

Throughout the day, thousands of employees will engage in a wide array of activities—from static cycle challenges and treasure hunts to cake decorating contests and employee-led workshops. These efforts will benefit hundreds of charities, making a tangible difference across our communities.

“City Giving Day is a celebration of philanthropy - an opportunity for organisations and their people to come together and support the charities they care deeply about. Whether through fundraising, volunteering, or simply raising awareness, do not underestimate the power of your engagement. Together, we can create A Better City for All.”
