Today marked the celebration of Britain’s Most Admired Companies 2024.
Carried out in partnership with the London Stock Exchange, Britain's Most Admired Companies study is the longest-running annual survey of corporate reputation in the UK with data on FTSE 100 and 250 companies going back 35 years.
The study is based on peer and financial analyst review of 238 listed companies across 27 sectors and 13 reputational drivers.
It is conducted by Echo Research, expert witnesses in reputation and a leading global independent market research agency providing board-ready insights and reputation valuation to over 700 clients spanning all sectors.
Congratulations go to Berkeley Group, crowned as Britain’s Most Admired Company and to Dame Emma Walmsley, Chief Executive, GSK voted by peers as Britain’s Most Admired Leader.
“Among the key attributes that shape the rankings of companies, the quality of products & services continues to top the list as critical to success, alongside clarity of strategy, quality of management, financial soundness, and capacity to innovate.”
“Against a backdrop of growing geopolitical, macroeconomic and cybersecurity risks, the study also highlights that technology/AI, trust and talent retention are seen as the biggest opportunities for UK businesses ahead.”
