London Stock Exchange welcomes the delegation from Morocco for the MCMD 2024

Celebrating its 7th anniversary, Morocco Capital Market Days (MCMD) has witnessed remarkable growth since its inception in 2016, establishing itself as a pivotal event for Bourse de Casablanca and Moroccan listed companies in collaboration with international investors. The London Stock Exchange has been a key partner of Bourse De Casablanca and we are thrilled to welcome the delegation with a Market Open Ceremony at the London Stock Exchange on Friday, 10th May.

This year's MCMD promises an enriching agenda over two days, featuring a conference highlighting Morocco's macroeconomic environment and the appeal of its capital market for global investors. Continuing the tradition from previous editions, MCMD 2024 will predominantly serve as a platform for financial communication. With 26 Moroccan issuers participating, sessions are scheduled for one-to-one meetings with international investors to showcase their performance and future prospects.

This edition offers valuable opportunities to bridge the Moroccan delegation, consisting of executives from listed companies and capital market operators, with London's international investors. It aims to spotlight the opportunities within Morocco's capital market and its compelling financial standing.

Established in 1929, Bourse de Casablanca's continuous mission is to enrich its product and service offerings, develop and implement a unified strategy across the stock market's various components, and enhance its infrastructure. It stands as one of Africa's leading exchanges. As of the end of 2023, it boasted 77 listed companies with a market capitalisation of 626,1 billion MAD. In recent years, Bourse de Casablanca has expanded its footprint in African financial markets and bolstered its relationships with operators across the continent.
