The London Stock Exchange welcomes BlackRock Global Trading People’s Council

Organised by the BlackRock Global Trading People's Council (GTPC), BlackRock was welcomed to the London Stock Exchange to close the Markets today. The Market Close ceremony followed a pre-session with London Stock Exchange CEO, Dame Julia Hoggett, DBE, who provided an update on the IPO landscape and the wider UK capital markets reform agenda. A panel discussion followed on the key trends and LSEG innovations within the European Equity Markets.

BlackRock participants included asset traders and industry professionals with a mission to enhance the talent and culture across the investment platform by fostering continuous education, promoting innovation in markets and trading, and facilitating impactful knowledge sharing. Today’s gathering was aimed at educating early-stage BlackRock traders and the investment community on the London Stock Exchange, how we operate and what we are working on within the wider Capital Markets landscape.
