London Stock Exchange Group Welcomes Canning House to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

LEAD Latinos for the Empowerment Advancement and Development closed the market today 9th of October 2024 to commemorate the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, where Latin X, Hispanic and Allies come together to recognise and appreciate the community heritage, diversity and unity, commemorating a rich history, vibrant culture and contributions.

Hispanic Heritage Month runs from the middle of September to the middle of October, aligned to the independence of several Latin American Countries. Overall, it’s an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the Latin X vibrant culture, and their contributions to LSEG.

This year Theme “with Latinos, everything is possible” symbolizes the positive, can-do attitude, determination, pride and resilience that are so characteristic of the Latin Culture. Celebrating together highlights our organisational focus on driving inclusivity, creating a place where everyone belongs, feels part of, contributes, growth and achieve.
