
LSEG marks its first anniversary of migration to its new data centre in the Docklands
London Stock Exchange and industry leaders closed the Main Market to celebrate the event “Trends and Changes in Capital Markets Infrastructure”, marking the first anniversary of LSEG’s migration to its new data centre in the Docklands. The event included discussions surrounding the trends and changes in Capital Markets infrastructure and why so many firms are choosing LSEG as their primary host for European equities trading infrastructure. The Market Close ceremony was hosted by Nigel Harold, Head of Hosting and Connectivity at London Stock Exchange.
London Stock Exchange members Julia Hoggett (CEO), Andrew Bailey (Business Development Manager) and David Briody (Head of Origination and Specialist Trading, Equities, Capital Markets) welcomed the delegation and presented on the improvements to the London Stock Exchange platform made as a result of the migration, as well as future trends in exchange hosting.
Further discussions took place in a panel, moderated by LSEG’s Head of Sustainable Finance Capital Markets & Post Trade, Claire Dorrian. Industry leaders discussed the trends in DC space and our response, financial services superhighway and sustainability & Investor demands, and how green credentials are shaping investment decisions in infrastructure.
