London Stock Exchange welcomes St Ann’s Hospice, Winner of Winners at the Chamber Business Awards 2021
St Ann’s Hospice is closing the London Stock Exchange after receiving the Winner of Winners award at the Chamber Business Awards 2021. Now in its 18th year, the Awards are one of the showpiece events in the business calendar, highlighting the role of business in delivering growth and prosperity for the UK and local communities.
St Ann’s Hospice, members of Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, provides care for thousands of people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses every year from its hospice sites in Heald Green and Little Hulton, as well as via a range of community and outreach services. Specialist hospice staff support people from across Greater Manchester and parts of Cheshire right from the point of diagnosis of their illness, through treatment and beyond. The hospice is one of the oldest and largest in the UK and celebrated its 50th anniversary last year.
They were crowned winners after the judges praised their commitment in operating and solving urgent and immediate problems in an extremely challenging ‘market’ and wider environment.
