“We are delighted to be taking part in the LSE Market Close Ceremony to mark 10 years since our premium listing on the LSE Since our IPO in 2011, Polymetal has dramatically evolved. We have more than doubled production from 0.7Moz to 1.6Moz. We have built eight new mines, and in the process radically improved the quality of our portfolio. Our reserve base has grown from 14.3 Moz to 27.9 Moz, even after 10 years of depletion. We have consistently created significant Free Cash Flow and paid out $2.7bn in dividends to our shareholders.
At Polymetal we believe that the Premium London listing gives investors comfort the company is committed to the highest standards of good corporate governance together with high levels of transparency and integrity around our financial reporting. In line with best global practice, Polymetal has also invested heavily in the stewardship of its physical and social environment, and is proud of the recognition it has received by having consistently high ratings in world renowned ESG indices, such as Sustainalytics, FTSE4Good, and the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.
Naturally, none of this exceptional performance would have been possible without the strong leadership example set by our CEO, Vitaliy Nesis, his management team and the whole Polymetal workforce. Finally, with this team in place I feel very comfortable that the next ten years for Polymetal is in great hands.”
