London Stock Exchange welcomes PensionBee to the High Growth Segment of the Main Market

Today, London Stock Exchange welcomes PensionBee, a leading online pension provider, to the High Growth Segment of the Main Market.

PensionBee was co-founded in 2014 by its Chief Executive Officer, Romi Savova, and its Chief Technology Officer, Jonathan Lister Parsons, with a mission to make pensions simple, so that everyone can look forward to a happy retirement. Operating in the UK defined contribution pensions market, PensionBee caters for the many people who have historically struggled to understand, prepare for and manage their retirement confidently.

As of March 2021, PensionBee had achieved £1.65 billion in Assets Under Administration, and its active customers had grown to approximately 137,000. With its successful, data-driven, omni-channel customer acquisition model, the company is ideally positioned to capture the significant market opportunities ahead.

Romi Savova CEO of PensionBee, said: “We are incredibly proud to have reached such a special milestone for PensionBee. I would like to thank my dedicated and talented colleagues for making this happen, as well as our customers who are such an integral part of the business.

“Our IPO will allow us to continue to grow and innovate, while further championing the customer and making progress against our strategy of becoming the best universal online pension provider. It is a perfect time for us to make this transition – the consumer shift to digital services has accelerated rapidly and there is an ever-growing need for financial wellbeing.

“Customers are at the heart of all we do, and I am delighted that we are able to take them with us on this growth journey. We look forward to capturing the opportunities that lie ahead and thriving as a listed business.”
