London Stock Exchange welcomes Marks Electrical to AIM

Marks Electrical, a fast growing online electrical retailer, began trading on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of London Stock Exchange on 5th November after successfully raising £30 million in its IPO.

Marks Electrical sells, delivers, installs and recycles a wide range of household electrical products. Founded in Leicester in 1987 by its Chief Executive Officer, Mark Smithson, Marks Electrical has expanded into a nationwide online retailer, with a strong track record of growth and scaling the business as a result of the consumer shift to online shopping.

Upon Admission, the company has a market capitalisation of £115m. Panmure Gordon (UK) Limited acted as Nominated Adviser and sole broker in relation to the proposed placing and Admission, with MHP Communications advising on financial PR.
