Legal & General’s Asset Management division is delighted to launch its Private Markets Access Fund at the London Stock Exchange.

The division is one of Europe’s largest asset managers and is a major global investor across public and private markets, with £1.2 trillion in assets under management (as at 31 December 2023).

The launch of the Private Markets Access Fund continues the evolution of the company’s DC pension offering and represents a huge milestone for both L&G Asset Management and the wider DC pensions industry. 

While private markets feel relatively new in DC pension investments, L&G has offered private market asset classes spanning real estate equity, private credit and infrastructure for 50 years. This means L&G is confident that it has a breadth of expertise to draw on to offer this new private markets opportunity to DC savers. 

The Private Markets Access Fund aims to provide a broad range of public and private investment opportunities in an efficient, scalable and responsible way.
