London Stock Exchange welcomes Kin + Carta to celebrate becoming the first B Corporation on the Main Market

London Stock Exchange welcomes global digital transformation consultancy Kin + Carta for a Market Open ceremony to celebrate it becoming the first company to certify as a B Corp on the London Stock Exchange.

The rigorous, independent B Corp assessment evaluates how a company's operations and business model impacts on employees, communities, the environment, and customers. Certification is only provided to organisations that achieve the highest standards of ESG performance, public transparency and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.

Following certification in the Americas and Europe regions, this milestone completes B Corp certification for Kin + Carta PLC.   Shareholders recently voted overwhelmingly in favour of changing Kin + Carta’s  articles of association in order to align to stringent B Corp standards, and permanently commit to having a material positive impact on society and the environment. It is the first company on the London Stock Exchange to achieve the certification.

The Market Open Ceremony was attended by Kin + Carta’s CEO J Schwan, who commented:

“We are proud that Kin + Carta is a pioneer among our peers, and encourage other PLCs to now follow us on the B Corp journey. Everyone benefits from a B Corp approach and we’re delighted Kin + Carta has demonstrated how it’s possible to achieve that standard whilst continuing to scale and thrive. This is the latest and most significant stage in our journey to create a modern, diverse and sustainable digital transformation business with the answers for today’s challenges.”

Kin + Carta is a technology, data and experience consultancy, purpose driven to build a world that works better for everyone.
