London Stock Exchange welcomes Henderson High Income Trust plc celebrating 30 years sine listing

Henderson High Income Trust plc was today welcomed to London Stock Exchange to mark 30 years since the Trust launched on the 1st December 1989.

The Trust invests in a prudently diversified selection of large and smaller companies to provide investors with a high level of dividend income while also maintaining the prospect of capital growth over the long term.

Margaret Littlejohns, Chairman of Henderson High Income Trust commented: “We are delighted to be taking part in the London Stock Exchange Market Open ceremony to mark 30 years since the launch of Henderson High Income Trust.

Looking back over the past three decades serves as a reminder of the importance of income to long term investors.
