London Stock Exchange welcomes Foresight Group Holdings to the Premium Segment of the Main Market and celebrates its Green Economy Mark

London Stock Exchange welcomes Foresight Group Holdings Limited (“Foresight Group” or “Foresight”) to trading on the Main Market by way of a premium listing. Foresight Group (ticker: FSG) is an award-winning infrastructure asset and private equity investment manager that specialises in providing investment opportunities in difficult-to-access private markets to both institutional and retail investors using ESG-oriented strategies. As at 30 September 2020, Foresight had assets under management of £6.8 billion.

On 4 February 2021 Foresight announced the successful pricing of its £227 million IPO, giving it a market capitalisation of approximately £455 million at the commencement of conditional dealings.

Listing on London Stock Exchange’s Main Market will further enhance Foresight’s profile, strengthening its fund-raising performance and providing an additional source of capital for further acquisitions. Foresight’s strategy is to grow its existing investment platform, diversify and develop new investment opportunities, and expand its investor reach.

Foresight received the London Stock Exchange Green Economy Mark upon listing, which recognises companies that derive 50% or more of their revenues from environmental solutions.

Bernard Fairman, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Foresight Group, said:

“This is a major milestone for Foresight.  I am pleased that investors have recognised the many strengths and considerable growth opportunities across our business and that our long-standing commitment to sustainable investment has resonated so well with them.

With our focus on renewable energy and infrastructure, we are well placed to benefit from the increasing global stimulus to green investment.  Foresight’s regional private equity strategy in the UK gives us the network, reach and local expertise to support UK SMEs nationally.

And our long-standing ESG focus remains absolutely central to our business.

The opportunities for Foresight are hugely exciting and we welcome all our new shareholders.  The next chapter in Foresight’s quest for a smarter future starts now.”
