London Stock exchange welcomes Atrato Onsite Energy to the Premium Segment of the Main Market
The London Stock exchange today welcomes Atrato Onsite Energy (ROOF), the only investment trust dedicated to investing in onsite energy assets. Today’s ceremony marks the admission of ROOF’s shares to trading on the Premium Segment of the Main Market.
ROOF primarily invests in behind the meter solar photovoltaic (solar PV) generations systems, predominantly located on the roofs of commercial buildings and commercialised through long-term, indexed power purchase agreements (PPAs).
ROOF’s investment objective is to provide investors with a secure and progressive dividend, underpinned by long-term PPAs. The generation of green energy directly at the point of use brings economic savings, avoids grid losses, provides traceability of supply and reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
The IPO raised gross proceeds of £150m by way of a Placing, Offer for Subscription and Intermediaries Offer, with demand significantly exceeding the maximum issue size. The proceeds will be deployed into the identified pipeline of assets which exceeds £300m.
ROOF is believed to be the first investment trust to list on the London Stock Exchange with an all-female board and is chaired by Juliet Davenport OBE, founder of Good Energy plc.
