London Stock Exchange Group welcomes Lord Mayor’s City Giving Day 2023

City Giving Day is The Lord Mayor’s Appeal annual celebration of philanthropy and giving. Championed by successive Lord Mayors of the City of London this event has gone from strength to strength with more than 550 companies taking part this year.

Throughout the day, thousands of employees will be taking part in activities ranging from static cycle challenges and treasure hunts to relay races and employee workshops, and hundreds of charities will benefit.

The Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress are delighted to attend London Stock Exchange Market Open Ceremony to kick start the City Giving Day 2023 celebrations. Joined also by the Sheriffs and some of the City’s Aldermen, they will continue on for the rest of the day to visit some of the businesses taking part to share in their celebrations.
