London Stock Exchange Group celebrates UK-Türkiye Green Finance Conference

The London Stock Exchange Group today welcomes VIP attendees of the UK-Türkiye Green Finance Conference, taking place at Mansion House following the market opening.  

The UK-Türkiye Green Finance Conference is bringing together UK and Turkish ministers with senior representatives from the finance, renewable energy and infrastructure sectors, to discuss the green finance ecosystem in Turkey. Key topics at the conference include the development and launching of green and ESG bonds, accurately reporting on green finance activities, and how to develop sustainable projects. The conference will also feature deep-dives into clean energy and future mobility opportunities in Turkey, and present a showcase of sustainable projects seeking investment. 

The conference comes after a successful COP26 for Turkey, and aims to generate the support and expertise necessary for Turkey to achieve its climate goals.
