Today London Stock Exchange Group joined companies around the world to celebrate National Intern Day #NationalInternDay. Created by WayUp in 2017, National Intern Day is an opportunity to recognise the work and importance of interns in the work place.

Hosted by Daniel Maguire CEO of LCH and Executive Committee Member of London Stock Exchange Group, our UK interns along with their managers and graduate buddies opened the market on Thursday 25th July 2019. This not only marked the day but also recognised the contributions and new perspectives that our interns have brought to their teams at London Stock Exchange Group worldwide.

Our intern programmes in New York, Fort Mill, Bucharest also had a part to play in the event having contributed to a video blog that was played directly after the market open.
